SAT/PSAT & ACT Advice
The Perfect Score

I read an article about two students who got perfect scores on their ACT tests.

The interviewer asked them how they had done it. Their answers were the same, practice, practice, practice.
How do you get practice?

Every high school counseling department has copies of the SAT Preparation Booklet and Preparing for the ACT booklet that are free.

These are issued new for the current year.

The SAT booklet contains sample questions and an Official SAT Practice Test.

The ACT booklet contains a full-length Practice Test.

They both include test strategies and other information.
Practice, Practice, Practice

If you are really serious about doing your best on these tests, start no later than the ninth grade.

Pick up a copy of these two booklets and read through them.

Take the tests.

Study the answers.

Ask teachers to help you on the ones you got wrong.

Practice, practice, practice.
Online Help

Go online for more help from the official sites. ACT has more practice books available to purchase through www.actstudent.org and www.actonlineprep.com. Check them out.
